Meet our Team

At Christ Kaleidoscope, it is our hope that every person who walks through our doors feels like they have a role in serving the church and the surrounding community. Every week, we have many faces and personalities that take part in the privilege and witness of gathering together at the feet of Jesus.  Meet a few of those faces.

Pastor

Best movie of all time: The Sixth Sense (can’t beat that ending!) or 28 Days Later/Zombieland (two best zombie movies of all time)

Theme song for your life: "Show Me What I’m Looking For" by Carolina Liar (the prayer of a scattered-brained, ever-searching believer)

Dream trip: Bed and Breakfast in Sweden (not sure why I want to visit some Scandinavian country…probably because of my love of Ikea furniture)

Unusual talent: Finding obscure physical resemblances between people (ex: Landry from Friday Night Lights could be Matt Damon’s long lost, not-as-good-looking younger brother)

Your guilty pleasure snack: Cheddar & Sour Cream Ruffles (the best chips ever!)

Place where you feel most content: At home with the wifey and kiddos (Janet, Carissa and Kyrie)

Best advice you've received: "Be still and know that God is (I am) God." (I’ve heard this said to me in one form or another by a lot of people I deeply respect and as I grow older, I find I keep coming back to it as the one thing I need to make more space for in my life).

An inanimate object that describes you: Dinner table (sturdy, boring, usually left alone but always there for a great meal with good friends)

Actor or actress that would portray you in a film: James Franco

Favorite Bible verse, passage, or story: Philippians 2:1-11 - Hard to find a more succinct and complete summary of Christ and the Christian faith
