For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.

We believe that Jesus calls us to be with the poor, the suffering, and the marginalized.

One of the ways our church tries to express this conviction is by serving at a homeless shelter in Santa Ana, where we help with tasks such as serving food and putting together care packages.

On the last Saturday morning of each month, our church also has the privilege of putting together a one-hour worship session with anyone at the shelter who is interested.  During this time, we get the opportunity to sing, share, pray, and love those who have been made in God's image.
